Office English

The very fundamental objective of the Office English course is to empower participants with the ability to express and project their professional potential and activities in English.

This training course has been designed on the basis of international standard, local traditions and values.

The course covers listening, speaking, reading and writing skills of English language at workplace . The outcome of the course is tested and proven as it has been offered for the last two years. Continuous updating in the design and content of the course has made it richer, more effective and appropriate for the present situation.

This course will link, strengthen and broaden the written and oral communication in English with the ability to maintain challenging and satisfying performance in today's competitive situation.

The first part of the course will concentrate on oral communication in English considering different circumstances. Vocabulary development and reading skill are also the important features of this part. The second part will cover written skill development of the participants and also understanding through reading documents.

Registration: Course fee is Tk. 5,400/- only payable in advance at the time of confirmation in favor of Continuing Education Centre. This fee covers tuition, course material, presentation equipment usage, bag, certificate and tea and snacks during break.

Project Planning, M&E and Decision Support System

 (Based on MS Project 2000)

This training course would provide an understanding of the principles of computer based project management. Project 2000 developed by Microsoft Corporation- one of the best program management tools available will be covered in this training.
The first part of the course focuses on setting up a project, overall project parameters indicating the resource requirements. Different display formats; print work with forms and reports will also be covered during this session.
The second part concentrates on identifying and resolving resource over commitments; adjustment of tasks and tracking project's progress by comparing expected progress with actual progress. Participants will be encouraged to develop projects related to their own work areas.
