I am an MBA worked for a biggest multinational bank but getting no promotion so I am fed-up and left my job. Want to join with telecommunication industry since it is booming. Am I doing the right thing or not. Or I should continue my existing career. I have got 4 yrs experience in banking.

Please, advice should I change my track or not.

Thank you for your queries. In our country context still jobs in the Banking Sector is more demanding and deserving than the telecommunication sector. The reasons are there is a long hierarchy in the Banking career. First of all I will suggest you to apply to apply to positions superior to your current one in other Banks. Apply self-judgment method, as why you are not getting any sort of promotion. Certainly it`s depressing if you don’t get promotion for a while.

I am sure your background in the Banking Sector will open up better opportunities for you in the future. You certainly can apply to the Telecommunication sector, but you will earn better salary possibly but same thing will happen as: your promotion scopes will decline. Telecommunication sector doesn’t have such a long career track as the Banking one.

Best wishes.
